Who do you want and choose to be this New Year

This year is coming to an end. We start to reflect on what we could have done better. Who we wish to be. We start making resolutions and maybe we conquer them or fail. We find that our life is like a work of art and it is forever changing.


So who do you want to be with that change?


Do you want to be a follower or a leader…

Do you want to wish you had something or go after it…

Do you want to start a diet or have a balanced healthy lifestyle…


What do you want?


Today can be your fresh start. Don’t get me wrong, people are going to reminisce about the old you. There will be judgers or haters, but there will also be friends, family, and support. I encourage you to let this year’s resolutions be different. Do not say you’re going to do something and then let it slip by the waste side because of excuses. Recognize your mistakes and take them by the horns. I say this because your reality will never change until you do. Things, unfortunately, don’t change from wishing or hoping. They come from putting in the work. Rather that is physical, emotional, or mental. It isn’t about being the best because trust me that doesn’t give you any fulfillment in the real world. It is about proving to yourself that you can.


Don’t be your reason for failing.


This process is hard no matter how you go about it and progress within change is never linear.


Today after reading this, if you feel even a slight urge to change something in your life, do it.

If you don’t like a job, put in your notice or find something you do enjoy.

If you want to lose weight or gain not knowing where to start, hire a coach you trust that does.

If you feel like you are being used or not appreciated, say no and express your feelings.


These are three common examples people run into with their everyday lives that they are so afraid to take a step for the better.


YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY IN YOUR OWN LIFE.


Read that again.


You choose who you let into your circle and who you want to stay with. You choose if you want to eat like crap or eat balanced. You choose if you wake up early or use your lunch break to get in your workout.


You choose.


Be different with new year resolutions this 2022
